So if you want to witness the world’s largest overland migration and the Big Five, this is the place to be. Enjoy one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in Africa. Travelling has the capacity to open your eyes so wide and show you a world that you may never have imagined existed.
For me it’s a compulsion, it’s an improbable and unforeseeable adventure, which excites me immensely.
The Ngorongoro Crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. This wildlife hotspot is home to almost 30,000 animals, including the Big Five. The crater is also known as the ‘Garden of Eden’, due to the abundance of wildlife, ever dancing clouds and beautiful colours of the landscape. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

Manyara National Park is a small gem nestled below the western wall of the Great Rift Valley. The Soda Lake for which the park is named appears tinted pink by huge flocks of flamingos. The park also boasts a jungle-like groundwater forest with wild fig, palm and tamarind trees, acacia woodland, and a grassy flatland where baobab trees and elephant abound.
You will also see many hippopotamus floating in the lake or grazing at its edge, plus giraffe, buffalo, large troops of baboons, zebra, and monkeys and, with luck, its famous tree-climbing lions.
Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania and is located in Manyara Regiona. This lovely park is the kingdom of elephants, birds and baobabs. Here you can see the largest concentration of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National park is full of wildlife.
Four of the Big Five reside within the park, which makes it is a great spot for a day trip.
See crocodiles, hippopotamus, and dozens of species drinking along the shore on boat safaris down the Selous River. Tanzania’s largest game reserve features diverse landscapes, from marshes to open plains to dense acacia forests.
This wild and unspoilt game reserve in southern Tanzania boasts an enticing mix of abundant wildlife and varied terrain to explore. Spanning a vast 45,000km, the Selous is larger than Switzerland and is home to just a handful of small safari camps, ensuring an exclusive safaris experience.
